Central Texas Farm Credit (CTFC) board of directors appointed Frank Volleman to serve as the representative for the Early and Comanche region. Volleman’s appointment follows the retirement of long-time board member Kenneth Harvick. He will serve on the board of directors until CTFC stockholders elect a member to serve a full three-year term in 2025.

Volleman is a dairy farmer in Comanche County, where he owns and operates Wildcat Dairy and Volleman’s Family Farms. He started his ag operation in 1987 and has been operating at the current location since 1993. Frank and his wife, Annette, along with their four sons and their spouses each have a role in the dairy operation. The Volleman’s built their own processing and bottling facility and sell their milk in returnable glass bottles and distribute it to retailers across Texas.

Volleman has a degree in animal science and is a graduate of The Executive Program for Agriculture Producers. He serves as a director of the Middle Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, representing Comanche County. Volleman is also a board member of the Association of Agriculture Production Executives, a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church of Dublin, and a Knight of Columbus. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. Volleman has been a CTFC member since 2010.

“I am honored to serve on the board of CTFC and I will do my best to work for the best interest of the organization and its members,” Volleman said.

As a cooperative, CTFC is governed by a seven-member board of directors representing diverse agricultural and business interests in the association’s 19-county trade territory. Member-owners elect five board members, and the board appoints two non-stockholder members for their knowledge of other areas, such as finance and accounting.

“Frank brings years of valuable dairy and business expertise to our board,” Robby Halfmann, CTFC board chairman, said. “We are excited to have him join our leadership team.”
