Central Texas Farm Credit announces the promotion of Travis McKinney to executive vice-president, chief lending and operating officer.
Previously, McKinney served as the rural lending cooperative’s chief lending officer. He has 23 years of tenure with CTFC and has held many titles in that time ranging from loan officer trainee to chief credit officer.
In his new position, McKinney will continue to oversee lending and marketing activities at CTFC. In addition, he will now also be responsible for loan systems, loan documentation, and IT operations.
“Travis has played a major role in the success of this association,” Zach May, CTFC chief executive officer said. “His leadership skills and knowledge of all aspects of our business make him the perfect fit for this position.”
McKinney is a native of Stephenville, Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural services and development from Tarleton State University and is a 2018 graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
“I have had the privilege to spend my entire career with CTFC and hope to finish it off here someday,” McKinney said. “CTFC is an outstanding organization from top to bottom, starting with the Board, staff, and customers. I look forward to continuing to work alongside all of our great team members and customers in this new role.”
