Zach May was named chief executive officer of Central Texas Farm Credit in July 2023. Previously, he served as CTFC's chief operating officer for 12 years. Zach has a long history with the Farm Credit System, where he's held positions such as senior credit analyst and operations manager. He also spent more than three years as an examiner with the Farm Credit Administration. Zach has a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and a master’s degree in public policy, both from Texas A&M University. He also is a graduate of the Southwestern School of Banking.
Zach, along with his wife and three children, resides in Brownwood, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.

Travis McKinney was named EVP/Chief Lending and Operating Officer of Central Texas Farm Credit in July 2023. Previously, he served the association as chief lending officer. Travis holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural services and development from Tarleton State University. He also is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
Travis hails from Stephenville, Texas, where his family has lived for about 100 years. Involved with agriculture since he was five years old with his dad, Travis had his first herd of cows at age 17. Travis is a past president of the Comanche Kiwanis Club, serving from 2005 to 2006. He enjoys sports, racing, and, most of all, attending his children’s activities.

Keith Prater became Central Texas’ chief financial officer in 2018, when he was promoted from controller, a position he held for three years. Previously, he was controller at Durham Pecans in Comanche, Texas, and was a commercial credit analyst and loan officer in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned two bachelor of business administration degrees, one in accounting and one in finance.
Keith grew up in an ag family, and says that his hobby is his small cow-calf operation, which takes up much of his weekends. His parents continue to run cattle and a custom hay-baling operation. Keith, his wife, and three children live in Comanche, Texas, where he serves as treasurer of the Comanche County Historical Museum.

Jim Ed Field was named Central Texas Farm Credit's chief credit officer in 2022. Previously, he served the association as senior Vice President of lending and credit. Jim Ed holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural development from Texas A&M University and a master's in agricultural and applied economics from Texas Tech University. He is also a graduate of the Texas Agricultural Lifetime Leadership Program (TALL). Jim Ed has been in agricultural lending since 2000, spending all but six years in the Farm Credit System.
Jim Ed and his wife live in Abilene. In his spare time, Jim Ed enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He especially enjoys trips to see his adult children and grandchild.

Vickie Ratliff joined the Central Texas Farm Credit team in 2018. A native of Brown County for most of her life, Vickie has always been part of the agricultural industry, whether helping her grandparents work cattle on their ranch or barrel racing during her youth. She highly respects the hard-working individuals who feed the world against all odds. When Vickie is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Laurel McGuire joined the Central Texas Farm Credit in 2020 with 12 years of Farm Credit experience. Six of those years were with Central Texas Farm Credit when it was known as the Federal Land Bank Association of Texas, FLCA. A native of Brownwood, Laurel is a former United States Navy service member. She volunteers at her church and contributes to the Homeless Ministry in Waco, Texas. Laurel is a big Dallas Cowboys and Brownwood Lions fan! She enjoys reading, gardening, antiquing, hiking, working out, dancing, and DIY projects in her new house. Laurel also enjoys keeping up with her two grandsons and their activities.
